General Terms and Conditions of PartnerPlusBenefit WorldShop

1. Scope of Application

1.1st The following conditions apply to all deliveries, services and offers from the range of the Lufthansa WorldShop of Miles & More GmbH (“MMG”) within the framework of the PartnerPlusBenefit Programme operated by Deutsche Lufthansa AG (“Lufthansa”). General terms and conditions of the customer are not applicable.

1.2nd The PartnerPlusBenefit premium range is targeted exclusively to entrepreneurs in terms of Article 14 of the German Civil Code.

1.3rd All of the products offered within this range can only be paid for using BenefitPoints - payment or additional payment in EUROS, another currency or Miles & More miles is not possible. The product awards may be ordered while stock lasts. Products from the Lufthansa WorldShop falling outside this range cannot be ordered using BenefitPoints.

2. Conclusion of contract

2.1st The presentation of goods represents a non-binding invitation for you to order them.

2.2nd The awards may only be ordered online via the WorldShop website provided for the PartnerPlusBenefit programme. To order, please log in on the homepage with your PartnerPlus Benefit user name and password.

2.3rd After the order is complete, the points will be deducted from your points account (including the points deduction for the delivery costs, see number 3) and you will receive an order confirmation via E-mail at the E-mail address registered in your PartnerPlusBenefit profile. The delivery address will be preset to the address registered in your profile. This cannot be changed during the order process. If you wish to enter another delivery address, please make sure that the delivery address and the billing address are identical and note that both addresses can only be changed in the user profile under Please also note, that a post office box can be accepted neither as delivery nor billing address.

2.4th  If the goods are not available through no fault of our own, the duty to deliver is not applicable insofar as we ourselves have not taken delivery in a timely manner or at all, despite normal and congruent cover transactions, and have informed you of this in a timely manner. Any deducted points will be returned immediately and redeemed points will be credited to your account.

3. Lead times, delivery capacity and shipping charges

4. Warranties

4.1st If not otherwise agreed, the legal warranty right applies pursuant to Article 434 ff. of the German Civil Code, with the following stipulation: If there are deficiencies, we will replace the item with a replacement of our choice or remedy it (supplementary performance). The warranty period is one year from delivery of the goods. In the event of a bilateral trade agreement, article 377 of the German Commercial Code applies.

4.2nd There is no voluntary money-back guarantee for the PartnerPlusBenefit Shop. Before confirming your order, please confirm that the contents of your basket reflect your intentions. Erroneous orders cannot be taken into account or returned. No returns will be accepted based on the fact that the goods were not to your liking.

4.3rd As a result of ongoing improvements to product quality, deviations from the catalogue product images and/or information provided may occur in isolated cases. All performance, dimensions, weights and sizes provided are approximate values.

4.4th Please use the downloadable return label for free return shipping within Germany and affix it to the outside of the package. For returns from abroad, you have the option to request free pick-up via one of our service centers.

The return shipment is generally made within Germany by DHL Paket GmbH, the service provider printed on the return label. We will have goods that cannot be shipped as packages picked up by a forwarding company.

4.6th When opting to use the Gate Delivery Service the same terms apply as for returns in normal mail order transactions. Returns dispatched from outside our delivery area occur at the expense of the buyer.

4.7th All products in this range have passed the exacting quality controls of Lufthansa German Airlines. If there is a manufacturer warranty programme, please keep the manufacturer’s warranty card. Please contact the manufacturer directly in the event of a warranty claim.

5. Liability

Liability shall be unlimited in cases of wilful intent or gross negligence and if guarantee is shown to exist. In cases of slight negligence, liability for loss of life, bodily injury or damage to health shall equally be unlimited. In the event of slightly negligent breach of material contractual duties, liability shall be limited to property and financial losses typically attributable to such negligence in the amount of the foreseeable, typically occurring losses. Major contractual obligations are those that in the first place make possible the due and proper performance of the contract and on compliance with which the customer can generally rely. All further liability for damages shall be excluded, except for claims based on product liability law.

6. Luggage for your journey

Please ask the airline in question about current luggage limitations before boarding the plane. Check your luggage after every flight as soon as you have retrieved it from the baggage conveyor belt. If your luggage is damaged, it is best to make a complaint immediately both verbally and in writing to the responsible airline or transport company before passing through customs. By opting to use the Gate Delivery Service the customer accepts responsibility for compliance with both the hand luggage regulations of the airline with which they are travelling as well as the customs regulations of the destination country.

7. Data Privacy Protection

We store, process and transmit personal data (company, surname, first name, street, house number, post code, city, country, email address, telephone number, PPB contract number) collected from our customers to fulfil our business purposes, in particular contract execution and fulfilment. Your data will also be collected when your order is placed on paper or during a discussion with a customer service representative. By ordering, you agree to the processing and transmission of your information in accordance with this data protection declaration. 8. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

German law applies to bilateral commercial transactions under exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Frankfurt am Main is the only court of jurisdiction for bilateral commercial transactions. Deutsche Lufthansa AG is headquartered in 50679 Cologne, Von-Gablenz-Straße 2. It appears in the commercial register of the Cologne District Court under the number HRB 2168. It is represented by the board of directors, which in turn is represented by Carsten Spohr.
